## Message Specifications

- English message: 160 characters per part. Arabic: 70 characters per part.
- One Arabic character anywhere makes the whole message count as Arabic.

## SenderID (Originator), Kuwait

SenderID = the name shown as SMS sender. Max 11 English characters. May differ from company name (product/service names allowed).

Rules:
- Only COMPANIES can register SenderIDs (individuals only during elections).
- Numeric SenderIDs not allowed for A2P in Kuwait. Mobile/landline numbers cannot be SenderIDs.
- Your mobile number is never shown, all A2P SMS uses Public or Private SenderID.
- Approval is NOT guaranteed; subject to telecom company rules.
- One-time fee; use forever on Kuwait networks.
- International SenderID: cost varies by country; activation takes 1–2 months, sometimes longer.

### Form instructions

1. Open the downloaded Word document.
2. Delete all placeholder text in double curly braces ({{ }}) and fill in required details.
3. SenderID max 11 English characters.
4. Website link must be active and relevant to the SenderID name.
5. IMPORTANT: Submit forms for approval BEFORE signing. After approval, print and sign in one final step.
6. Print on company letterhead; company name must match the license. No letterhead? Create one: company name + logo in header, address + telephone in footer.
7. Sign with ink. Stamp optional. Digital signatures NOT accepted.

## Troubleshooting: Message Not Received

1. Check Sending Queue, message may be stuck; delete it and credits are refunded.
2. Check Archive, if not there, it was never sent.
3. Open the message in Archive; verify numbers are correct.
4. Check delivery reports (DLR), usually appear ~24 hours after sending, at the bottom of the message view.
5. DND/blacklisted numbers do not receive promotional SMS. Some numbers are filtered by owner request.
